HR strip (patra) prices edged down by INR 200/t ($2/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh, and by INR 100/t ($1/t) d-o-d in Raipur on 20 Dec’22. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 48,200/t ($582/t) exw-Mandi, and INR 47,700/t ($576/t) exw-Raipur. Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
