South Korea: KOSPO issues purchase tender for 7,85,000 t of thermal coal

Korean Southern Power Co. Ltd (KOSPO) has issued a purchase tender for 7,85,000 t of thermal coal. The tender is for Indonesian coal with calorific value from 4900 Kcal/kg to 4900 Kcal/kg NAR with sulphur content of 0.2% max, TM (moisture) 43% and VM 16-45%. The quantity of supply for second half of Jan’23 is 1,45,000 t; 3,20,000 t for Feb’23-Jan’24; and rest for Feb’24-Jan’25.
