India: Jharkhand mills conclude 4,200 t of billets, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based steel mills concluded 1,600 t of billets deals in a price range of INR 44,600-44,800/t exw-Ramgarh.
1,500 t of P-DRI and 1,100 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 29,500-29,700/t and INR 32,000-32,200/t exw-Ramgarh.
As sufficient orders were placed last week, demand remained modest and limited trade has been noticed, today. Spot trades fell by 17% as against 5,100 t on Saturday on slow movement in semis.
