- Sponge iron PDRI (FeM 80%) offers fell by INR 300/t and 1,700 t of deals were concluded between INR 29,700-29,800/t exw on 19 Dec’22.
- Iron ore lump-based DRI (CDRI) prices decreased by INR 250/t & around 1,050 t of deals were confirmed at INR 30,700-30,800/t exw.
- Buyers were expecting for further correction from the market. Thus, buying in sponge iron remained modest.
