South Korea: Ferrous scrap imports down by 9% m-o-m in Nov’22

South Korea imported 310,175 t of ferrous scrap in Nov’22 as against 340,944 t in Oct’22, a decline of 9% m-o-m, as per data maintained with SteelMint.
Japan continued to be the major exporter at 247,735 t followed by New Zealand at 18,107 t and the US at 16,172 t, respectively.
Total import volumes in Jan-Nov’22 stood at 4.13 mnt, a slight improvement by 2% y-o-y.
