South Korea: Steel billets imports increase by 80% m-o-m in Nov’22

South Korea’s steel billets imports improved by 80% m-o-m to 125,949 t in Nov’22 compared to 69,985 t in October, as per Customs data.
Japan was the largest exporter at 105,533 t, followed by Indonesia at 20,094 t.
Total import volumes rose by 3% to 1.45 mnt in Jan-Nov’22 as against 1.40 mnt in the year-ago period.
