South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) has recorded its highest single-day coal production of 543,000 t for FY23 on 15 Dec’22. Stepping-up the production levels, the company has maintained an average output of 511,333 t d-o-d in Dec’22 which is 12% higher than the year-ago period. Till date, SECL’s total production stands at 97.53 mnt, up 16% y-o-y.
