Vietnam: Ferrous scrap imports fall by 18% m-o-m in Nov’22

Vietnam’s ferrous scrap imports stood at 232,119 t, down by 18% m-o-m in Nov’22 against Oct’22 which was 283,490 t.
The US stood as the largest supplier with 83,293 t followed by Japan and Hong Kong with 62,232 t and 37,051 t, respectively.
The y-o-y import volume decreased by 33% to 3.46 mnt in Jan-Nov 2022 compared to the previous year.
