India: Ferrous scrap imports inch up by 26% m-o-m for Nov’22

India’s ferrous scrap imports stood at 1,347,644 t in Nov’22 with an increase of 26% from 1,069,983 t in Oct’22.
The largest supplier was the UK with 354,198 t, followed by the US and the Netherlands with 242,087 t and 65,670 t respectively.
The y-o-y import volume increased by 83% to 6,310,899t in Jan-Nov 2022 compared to the previous year.
