Major Pakistani steel mills – International Steel, Aisha Steel Mills and Hadeed Pakistan Pvt Ltd – have increased prices of cold-rolled coils (CRCs) and coated flat steel products by PKR 2,000/t ($9/t), effective 13 Dec’22. The recent increase in global steel and raw material prices along with the appreciation of PKR against USD have pushed mills to raise prices in December.
