Russia: Logistics constraints to reduce coal exports to China

The Russian exports of Coal to China are expected to drop amid logistics issues due to rising Asia-bound cargoes which led to rail jams in the country. As per data maintained with CoalMint, China’s coal imports recorded at 2.71 mnt in October’22, up from September’22 at 2.54 mnt. Coal imports may fall in upcoming months amid Russian logistics bottlenecks and reduced Chinese demand.
