India: Hindalco, Balco cut aluminium ingots prices by INR 5,500/t

Hindalco and Balco have reduced primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 5,500/t ($66/t) today as against 6 Dec.
Balco’s prices stand at INR 231,250/t ($2,794/t). Meanwhile, Hindalco’s prices are at INR 227,750/t ($2,752/t) exw, excluding GST.
The fall by 2.7% in LME’s 3-month contract price on yesterday’s closing may be a factor for decline in prices.
