- Nippon Steel Stainless Steel (NSSC) will raise the contracted sales price of nickel-based cold-rolled sheets for store sales by JPY 10,000/t ($73/t) in December.
- This is the third consecutive month of price hike. In Oct-Dec, the price was raised by a total of JPY 30,000/t ($220/t).
- The company’s sheet plant is expected to continue to operate at full capacity in January- March next year.
