India: WCL to conduct coal auction of around 270,000 t on 16 Dec’22

Coal India subsidiary, Western Coalfields Ltd (WCL), will conduct an auction for 2,68,590 t of coal on 16 Dec’22. The material that is to be offered in the auction comprises non-coking coal grades in the range of G6-G12 along with washery grade W-IV. Of the total offering, G10’s quantity is the highest at 120,000 t while G6 and G7 offerings are nominal.
