Ship-breaking melting scrap prices remained stable today in Gujarat’s Alang market. As per SteelMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 39,700/t exy. Limited buying inquiries for semis and finished steel in the last trading session in the region and decent scrap trading volumes at the current price levels prompted suppliers to keep their offers stable.
