SteelMint’s bi-weekly domestic pellets (Fe 63%) index, PELLEX, stood at INR 8,900/tonne (t), up by INR 350/t on 9 December compared to the last assessment on 6 December, 2022. Around 55,000 t of deals were reported.
SteelMint’s daily sponge iron, CDRI index was assessed at INR 32,000/tonne (t) (+ INR 100) exw-Rourkela on 9 December, 2022. The index rose due to optimism and bullish trends in the market. About 2,500 t of transactions were recorded on 9 December as against 2,100 t on 8 December.
