India: Jharkhand mills conclude 5,600 t billets, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based steel mills concluded 1,800 t of billets deals in a price range of INR 44,200-44,500/t exw Ramgarh.
2,500 t of P-DRI and 1,300 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 29,700-30,000/t and INR 32,200-32,300/t exw Ramgarh respectively.
Prices continued to rise amid strong market sentiments. However, demand remained moderate as spot trades fell by over 8% today as against 6,100 t yesterday, as per SteelMint.
