Chrome ore imports into Indonesia surged by 45% m-o-m to 58,475 t in Oct’22 against 40,352 t in Sep’22, as per Customs data. South Africa was the only chrome ore exporter to Indonesia at 58,469 t, up 31% m-o-m.
Cumulative imports by the country fell by 5% to 406,022 t in Jan-Oct’22 compared to the same period last year.
