A unit of SAIL, Visvesvaraya Iron & Steel Plant (VISL) has intended to procure 20,000 MT LAM coke through online reverse auction process conducted by M-junction.
Visvesvaraya Iron & Steel Plant (VSP), a unit of SAIL located at Bhadravathi, Karnataka has invited a tender to procure 20,000 MT LAM coke on FoR Bhadravathi basis. Only indigenous coke manufacturers and PSU trading companies are eligible to participate in this tender.
Bidders should submit their offers not less than 10,000 MT and thereafter in multiple of 500 MT. Offers with less than 10,000 MT shall not be considered.

- Ash (dry basis): 12% max
- Total moisture: 4% max
- VM (dry basis): 1% max
- Fixed carbon: 86% max
- Size: 30-80 mm
Detailed information should be provided by the tenderer regarding installed capacity of LAM coke plant, name, location and registration details of LAM coke plant or cokeries, annual production capacity and annual production of LAM coke plant during three preceding years. Public sector trading companies should mention the source of coke supply.
Bidders should have supplied at least 10,000 MT LAM coke to any government organization and should posses annual turnover of at least INR 0.2 billion in last 3 fiscal years.
Last date for submission of bids will be 28 Mar, 2015 at 11.00 hrs and opening of bids will be on the same day at 11.30 hrs.
