Sales of Billet in good volumes in the state of Chhattisgarh and anticipations of better demand further, resulted in prices to stand at almost similar levels as compared to the last day.
A Raipur based company named Prakash Industries Limited purchased 1,000 tons of Billet at Rs 29,300/MT (Ex works Bhilai) from a manufacturer in Bhilai.
Another 1,000 tons was also bought at Rs 29,200/MT (Ex works Raipur) from a Billet maker in Raipur yesterday.
Today, Billet is traded at Rs 29,500/MT and Rs 28,800-900/MT (Ex works Raipur and Raigarh) respectively.
