Australian premium hard coking coal prices increased by $8/t d-o-d to $258/t FOB on 6 Dec’22. A trade of 75,000 t was concluded on 5 Dec’22 at $260/t FOB for 25 Dec-4 Jan laycan. There is slight improvement in buying interest from India for January shipments. This coupled with heavy rainfall in Queensland is believed to have supported coking coal prices.
