- Sponge iron PDRI (FeM 80%), prices rose by INR 350/t and deals of 7,500 t were concluded between INR 30,000-30,200/t exw on 7 Dec’22.
- Iron ore lump-based DRI (CDRI) prices rose by INR 400/t & around 4,100 t deals were confirmed at INR 31,000-31,400/t exw.
- Spot buying in sponge continues to be active today as market activity improved amid Hyderabad billets prices soaring up to INR 1,000/t d-o-d.
