Brazil: Slab exports fall 18% m-o-m in Oct’22

Brazil’s steel slab exports declined by 17.85% m-o-m to 524,182 t in Nov’22 as against 638,064 t in October, as per Customs data.
The US was the largest importer at 252,952 t followed by Mexico at 69,087 t.
Cumulative export volumes increased marginally by 8.52% y-o-y to 6.54 mnt in Jan-Nov’22 as against 6.03 mnt in the year-ago period.
