India: Coal imports fall by 11% m-o-m in Nov’22

India’s total coal imports fell by 11% m-o-m to 17.86 mnt for November 2022 as per CoalMint vessel line up data. India’s coking coal imports fell by 8% m-o-m to 4.56 mnt on slow demand from the steel market. Thermal coal imports also fell by 10% m-o-m to 10.83 mnt due to increase in domestic coal production.
