Iran: Domestic billets, rebars prices rise amid DRI supply concerns

Iran’s domestic billets and rebars prices climbed owing to limited supply of direct reduced iron (DRI), leading to a decline in production, sources informed SteelMint.

• Steel billets prices rose by 2,000 Rial/Kg to 140,500 Rial/Kg as against 30 Nov’22.
• Rebars prices stood at 167,000 Rial/Kg on 5 Dec, an increase of 3,500 Rial/Kg.
