India’s coal production increases by 17% y-o-y in Apr-Nov’22

India’s coal production increased by 17% y-o-y to 524 mnt during April-November 2022 as compared to 448 mnt in the same period of last year. Notably, contribution from CIL in the said period was at 413 mnt, up by 17% y-o-y. Meanwhile, India’s total coal despatch stood at 558 mnt during Apr-Nov’22, a growth of 7.45% y-o-y.
