India is in receipt of lower scrap import offers from South Africa and Dubai as compared to from European and US counterparts. As heard in the last week, Import offers for shredded scrap from Europe and US regions were in the range of $420-425/MT CFR Mumbai.
Traders from South Africa and Dubai regions are offering their HMS I&II (80:20) material within the range of $400-405/MT CFR Mumbai. However buyers are still not attracted from these offers and prefer to wait for some more downfalls as per told by Mumbai based trader.
