Japan’s flat steel exports down marginally by 1% m-o-m in Oct’22

Japan’s flat steel exports stood at 1.85 mnt in Oct’22, down marginally by 1% as against 1.86 mnt in Sep’22. The largest share of exports was of HRCs and plates at 1.06 mnt, followed by electrical and galvanised steel at 411,493 t and 164,789 t respectively. South Korea, Thailand and China were the top importing nations during the month.
