India: Jharkhand mills conclude around 5,500 t billet, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based steel mills concluded 2,800 t of billets deals in a price range of INR 42,200-42,500/t exw Ramgarh.
2,100 t of P-DRI and 500 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 28,600-28,800/t and INR 31,300-31,500/t exw Ramgarh, respectively.
Active buying was recorded in the region as market gained support from northern India (Mandi Gobindgarh). Hence, sellers increased offers amid demand recovery.
