MMTC has issued two tenders for a cumulative purchase of about 100,100 MT Iron ore for its integrated Steel plant, NINL.
MMTC has floated two tenders for purchase. One with upto 6 rakes of crushed sized Iron ore (about 23,100 MT) and the other tender of upto 20 rakes of Iron ore fines (about 77,000 MT) for its NINL steel plant. Supply is restricted to only mine owners of Joda & Barbil in Odisha. For these tenders, bidders have to quote price in INR/MT on ex-NINL plant basis.
Only those mine owners who have the mines’ certificate and IBM registration certificate are eligible to apply. Quantity can be increased or decreased as per requirement of MMTC during the mentioned period and the delivery period can be extended as per the requirement of NINL.

Iron ore fines (0-10 mm): 20 rakes containing approx 77,000 MT
Iron ore crushed sized (10-40 mm): 6 rakes containing approx 23,100 MT
Estimated quantity in 1 Rake=3,850 MT

Loading Site: Nearest railway siding for the supplier amongst Banspani, Jaroli, BIL siding of SE railway and Nayagarh siding of Eco railway.

MMTC has previously floated a tender for purchase of 120,000 MT Iron ore fines and 24,000 MT Iron ore lump which expired on 20 Feb’15.
