Heavy structural steel prices fell by INR 500/t d-o-d in Raipur. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 51,000/t exw. Due to uncertain market trends in steel billets prices and rising inventories, suppliers were in pressure to decline offers in the spot market. Trade discounts were hovering around INR 1,500-2,000/t. Light structural steel prices stood at INR 40,000/t ex Raipur.
