China’s Top-7 Iron Ore Producing Provinces (in Jan-Oct’22)

China’s iron ore production in Jan-Oct’22 fell by 2% year-on-year (y-o-y) to 810 million tonnes (mnt) from 823 mnt in Jan-Oct’21. Hebei province is the largest iron ore producing province with 340 mnt, down by 1% y-o-y, followed by Liaoning province at 130 mnt and Sichuan province at 83 mnt.
