- Sponge iron (FeM 80%), price fell by INR 750/t and 1,500 t deals were concluded between INR 28,700-28,800/t exw against offers at INR 29,000/t exw.
- Iron ore lump-based DRI (CDRI) prices dropped by INR 350/t. Around 750 t of deals were confirmed between INR 30,500-30,700/t exw.
- Today’s buyers appeared less interested in bookings as sponge iron buying remained sluggish.
