India to export 40,000 MT Mill Scale from Kandla Port

Bulk vessel named Crystal Ocean, carrying 40,000 MT Mill scale, is to be exported from Kandla Port to China. Vessel is expected to come at berth on 25 Feb, 2015.

Mill scale prices have declined sharply in China in line with Seaborne Iron ore prices, which have slipped to 6 years low. Currently, Mill scale prices are assessed at around USD 66-67/MT, CIF China for bulk shipments. Prices in the domestic market have also fallen to INR 2,400-2,500/MT ex-works.
