China: Steel billet prices edge up by RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d

Steel billets prices in China’s Tangshan rose d-o-d marginally by RMB 20/t ($3/t) to RMB 3,520/t ($493/t), inclusive of 13% VAT on 22 Nov’22. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE rebars futures contract for Jan’23 delivery closed today at RMB 3,677/t ($515/t), a slight increase of RMB 6/t ($1/t) d-o-d.
