South Korea: Ferro manganese exports drop 8% m-o-m in Oct’22

South Korea’s ferro manganese exports dropped by 8% m-o-m to 10,433 t in Oct’22 against 11,294 t in Sept’22, as per SteelMint’s Customs data.
Export volumes declined as the worldwide production of stainless steel was reduced and the sluggish demand persisted.
Key importers were the US (4,000 t), the Netherlands (499 t), and Brazil (459 t).
Export volumes in Jan-Oct’22 stood at 153,970 t, down 13% compared to 176,678t in Jan-Oct’21.
