South Korea: Steel billets exports rebound m-o-m in Oct’22

South Korea’s steel billets exports recovered m-o-m to 180,524 t in Oct’22 from 15,118 t in the previous month. Exports rose as rolling operations at mills were suspended due to the typhoon.
Thailand was the largest importer at 25,486 t in Oct’22 followed by Indonesia at 20,483 t and Japan at 15,983 t.
Cumulative export volumes inched lower by 6.8% to 348,998 t in Jan-Oct’22.
