India: 60,000 t of iron ore booked at Vedanta-ESL’s Odisha auction

Vedanta-ESL concluded 270,000 t of iron ore (Fe51-62%) auction on 15 Nov’22.

• 40,000 t of Fe60-62% grade lumps were sold at a floor price of INR 4,700/t.
• The entire material of Fe60-62% grade (10,000 t) of fines were sold at INR 2,800-3,000/t.
• Out of 50,000 t of Fe51-55% fines, only 10,000 t were sold at a floor price of INR 1,000/t.
• Prices include royalty, DMF and NMET.
