This week, auto component producers in northern India held multiple auctions of mild steel melting scrap. An auction held on 10 Nov’22 by a Haryana-based producer resulted in bids of INR 44,200/t ex-works for 400 t of CR-busheling. As compared with auctions w-o-w, prices have sharply corrected by INR 2,000-2,500/t exw.
