Taiwan: Flat steel exports rise 39% m-o-m in Oct’22

Flat steel exports by Taiwanese mills stood at 0.71 mnt in Oct’22, up 39% as against 0.51 mnt a month ago, SteelMint data shows. HRCs and plates export volumes rose 36% to 0.41 mnt while exports of CRCs dropped marginally by 1% to 0.07 mnt in Oct. Vietnam, Belgium and Japan were the leading importers with 0.11 mnt, 0.09 mnt and 0.06 mnt, respectively.
