- China’s automobile sales declined by 4% m-o-m to 2.505 million units in Oct’22. However, the volumes rose by 6.9% y-o-y, as per the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
- Auto production fell by 2.7% m-o-m to 2.599 million units in the month. On a y-o-y basis, output rose by 11.1%.
- In Jan-Oct’22, both sales and production increased by 4.6% and 7.9% y-o-y to 21.975 million units and 22.245 million units respectively.
