USA: Ferrous scrap exports increase 4% m-o-m in Sep’22

Ferrous scrap exports from USA increased by 4% m-o-m to 1.42 mnt in Sep’22 compared to 1.37 mnt in Aug’22, as per SteelMint data.
Mexico emerged as the largest importer at 0.3 mnt followed by India and Turkiye at 0.22 mnt and 0.21 mnt, respectively.
A total volume of 12.74 mnt has been exported by the country in Jan-Sept’22, a 7% decline as compared to CPLY.
