Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited – price setter of Indian Pig iron industry has declared prices for the month of February (valid till 28th).
Though, the Cuttack (Odisha) based company has made no revision in prices and its material will be traded at Rs 22,000/MT (Ex works), it has withdrawn the discount structure of Rs 100 to 400 for buyers interested to lift bulk quantity.
India's largest Pig iron producer (8,55,000 tons p.a) and exporter concluded 60,000 tons exports deal at $407/MT FOB Paradeep Port (INR 21,900) with Prime Carbon GmbH (Switzerland) on January 28.
Improved exports market resulted in NINL's decision to remove discounts.
