Vedanta had offered 24,000 t of iron ore lumps (6-20mm, Fe55-58%) for auction from its A. Narrain mines in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district on 9 Nov’22. The entire material was booked at the base price of INR 3,979/t, down by INR 581/t as against the last lumps auction on 28 Oct’22 (exclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET charges), sources informed.
