Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL), a subsidiary of Sesa Sterlite, has invited bid from reputed suppliers for supply of 0.5 MnT Non-coking coal on FoR basis at TSPL Plant.
Talwani Sabo Power Limited, a Vedanta Group Company and one of Punjab’s largest greenfield Thermal Power project, has intended to procure 0.5 MnT Non-coking coal on FoR destination basis.
The scope of work will include Non-coking coal supply on FoR (Free on Rail) basis i.e. arranging, loading into railway rakes, clearances, handling and storage. Unloading of the material from railway wagons will be arranged by TSPL.
Supplier should be a regular bulk dealer of Non-coking coal and supplied a minimum of 0.1 MnT during preceding 3 financial years and must’ve handled cargo movement through Indian railways. Also, average annual turnover of the bidder in last 3 preceding years must not be less than INR 0.75 billion.

Note: TSPL had earlier floated a purchase tender for 0.25 MnT Non-coking coal with scheduled technical and price bids to closed on 8 Jan, 2015.
