Brazil: Ferro silicon exports up 25% m-o-m in Oct’22

Brazil’s ferro silicon exports grew by 25% m-o-m to 16,011 t in Oct’22 in comparison with 12,824 t in Sep’22, as per customs data. The leading importers were Japan (4,734 t), the United States (4,565 t), and the Netherlands (2,243 t). Cumulative exports inched up by 2% to 126,758 t in Jan-Oct’22 compared to the corresponding period last year.
