Indonesia: Iron ore imports rise nearly 60% m-o-m in Sep’22

Indonesia’s iron ore (including pellets) imports increased by 59.15% m-o-m in Sep’22 to 1.2 mnt from 0.76 mnt in Aug’22, as per data released by customs.
China was the major exporter with 0.76 mnt in the month under review.
Total import volumes went up by 11.7% to 7.88 mnt y-o-y in Jan-Sep’22 as against 7.05 mnt in the year-ago period.
