India: Balco to auction around 23,700 t of ferrous, non-ferrous scrap

India’s aluminium major Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (Balco) has scheduled an auction for 23,730 t of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap from its plant located in Korba, Chhattisgarh on 15 Nov’22. Out of the total quantity, 22,200 t is mild steel scrap and 1,530 t is non-ferrous scrap. The prices of MS scrap to be auctioned will be linked to SteelMInt’s scrap (end cutting) index.
