“Producers of Billet based in Central part of India prefer to hold prices at almost similar levels today in comparison to last offers, looking at improved buying activities in heavy structures and wires.
Billet traded at Rs 29,600-700/MT and Rs 29,300-500/MT (Basic prices) at Raipur and Raigarh respectively”, shared the city based traders.
According to market participants, better demand for Billet in Mumbai (Maharashtra) pushed up prices of the material by Rs 300/MT to Rs 31,800/MT (ex works).
