India: Jharkhand mills conclude 5,000 t of billets, sponge iron deals

Jharkhand-based mills concluded 1,800 t of billets deals in a price range of INR 45,200-45,400/t exw-Ramgarh.
2,300 t of P-DRI and 900 t of C-DRI (FeM 78%) deals were confirmed at INR 29,200-29,500/t and INR 31,900-32,000/t exw respectively.
Offers were on the lower side and need-based buying continued in the market. Although transactions have improved d-o-d, these remained below average.
